Our service

Know the Demands. Manage the Risks.

Duergo’s Job Demands Analysis provides a detailed, objective breakdown of the physical and cognitive requirements of work – helping you identify workplace hazards, support disability management, and facilitate safe and sustainable return-to-work planning.

A structured process for job evaluation

From kickoff to task-level analysis, our method combines real-world observation, stakeholder input, and objective measurement to uncover job demands and inform safe, effective workplace decisions.

Initial Kick-Off Meeting

This begins with a meeting involving relevant stakeholders to gather background information, job descriptions, and task-specific details necessary for the analysis.

Task Observation and Evaluation

We conduct job shadowing of employees performing their routine duties, and create mock-ups to evaluate infrequent or seasonal tasks. This stage also includes interviews with both employees and supervisors, along with a thorough review of organizational documentation.

Measurement Techniques

Data is collected using both subjective and objective methods. Subjective data includes interviews, worker input, and leadership feedback. Objective data includes weights of tools and equipment, and push/pull force assessments.

Task-Level Analysis

Each task is analyzed for both physical and cognitive demands. Hazards and opportunities for control or modification are identified, and the resulting analysis supports both preventative strategies and reactive case management.

Clear insights into job demands for safer, smarter decisions

Our analysis breaks down task requirements, identifies risks, and supports HR, safety, and disability teams with practical insights for prevention and return-to-work planning.
